As a Gen X Dad, James has been through the ups and downs of life. From working in a jail to working in cybersecurity, he's seen people at their worst and their best — and it shows in how he talks about the world.

As the 'Dad' of the podcast, James brings a blunt, no-nonsense perspective that comes from actually being in the trenches. He's raised two kids with his wife Mitzi, and together they've moved all over Texas before finally settling down in Washington State.

Now he's writing a book to put his experiences — and his hard-earned views on life — onto paper.

Armed with a B.S. in Marketing, Emma has always been fascinated by trends, memes, and whatever the internet decides is funny this week. As the resident Gen Z on the podcast, they’re the official translator for their dad — who is perpetually one step behind internet culture and not afraid to admit it.

Emma inherited her dad's dark sense of humor, and isn't shy about turning it on him. Expect plenty of bickering, mutual roasting, and the occasional argument that goes slightly off the rails — it's all part of the dynamic.
